Questions about scheduled rides
How far ahead can I schedule a taxi?
You can schedule a pickup from 45 minutes to 7 days ahead. The app only shows times you can select.
Can I change a scheduled ride later?
You can edit your note. To change the time, route, taxi type or ride preferences, cancel the scheduled ride and book it again.
Can I cancel a scheduled ride?
Yes. You can cancel planned rides from the scheduled-rides view. piccab currently does not charge a cancellation fee for scheduled rides.
Is the fare fixed when I schedule?
No. The app shows an estimated fare range. You pay the actual metered taxi fare, plus any paid ride options you selected.
Is a driver assigned right away?
Not necessarily. Drivers can accept scheduled rides in advance. If nobody is assigned 15 minutes before pickup, regular dispatch starts automatically. Scheduling therefore does not guarantee pickup.
How do I pay for a scheduled ride?
As with every piccab ride, you pay in the taxi by card or cash.
